Collection contains miscellaneous papers including a legal paper relating to Stiles' taking over of an estate on Johns Island, S.C., that had belonged to his grandmother, Mrs. Smilie; a statement of the shares of Mrs. Stiles and Miss Stiles in an estate; and a printed copy of a political poem by Gov. John Lyde Wilson entitled "A Pasquinade of the Thirties," which analyzes prominent Charleston politicians.
